The Robopanda Robotic Panda is a fun-loving friend who likes to tell stories, play games and sing songs. This robotic panda bear has integrated sound and touch sensors that enable autonomous interaction without requiring the use of a remote control. Using capacitive touch sensor technology, the panda responds to contact depending on whether he is patted, poked, or caressed, and the internal dual-axis accelerometer and tilt sensor allow the panda to recognize when he has been picked up. The panda bear tells stories and asks the user to interact with him to determine the tales outcome, while touching his foot will cause him to get on all fours and crawl. The panda bear has 3 modes that change at the touch of a buttona training mode that instructs how to use the panda, a friend mode in which the robot tells stories and jokes, and a menu mode. The robot has happy, shy, and feisty personalities, and can learn tricks. Includes a plush panda and two memory cartridges with six hours of interactive content. Requires four AA and six C batteries. Ages 8 and up. The manufacturer has confirmed that this item meets all U.S. Federal toy safety standards, including safety standards for lead.
